Analysis of reasons and solutions for Cloud Control App not auto-starting after boot, covering auto-start permissions, floating window, background tasks, lock screen settings, etc.

Problem Description

Cloud Control App cannot auto-start after boot.

Cause Analysis

Cloud Control App auto-start requires meeting the following mandatory conditions:

ConditionDescription
Phone UnlockedPhone must be in unlocked state
Phone Screen OnPhone must be in screen on state
Permissions EnabledAuto-start permissions (changed to manual management), floating window permissions, background popup permissions, disable battery optimization, background task locking

⚠️ If the phone is in lock screen, screen off state or lacks the above permissions, Cloud Control App will not be able to auto-start. This is a system security mechanism, not a Cloud Control App problem.

Solutions

1. Check Permissions

  • Ensure necessary permissions such as auto-start, floating window, background popup, disable battery optimization, background task locking are enabled.
  • After enabling, Cloud Control App can auto-start normally.

2. Lock Screen and Wallpaper Settings

  • If lock screen password is set on the phone, please cancel the lock screen password.
  • If the phone uses dynamic wallpaper or other custom wallpaper, it is recommended to disable it.
  • Some Huawei/Android system phones:
    • Enable Developer Options
    • Disable Lock Screen function (ensure phone is unlocked before use), some phones call it Directly Enter System
    • Can close Developer Options after setting completion

3. Screen Sleep Time

  • Extend screen sleep time (recommended ≥1 minute).
  • Cloud Control App takes about 30~60 seconds from boot to auto-start, if screen turns off during this period, it may cause auto-start failure.

💡 Tip

  • The above operations apply to most Android/Huawei phones;
  • Auto-start failure is mostly caused by system security mechanisms or permissions not enabled.
