Reasons and solutions for Cloud Control App not auto-starting in lock screen state, including remote unlock and optimization settings to ensure subsequent automatic auto-start.

Problem Description

When the device is in lock screen state, Cloud Control App cannot auto-start.

Cause Analysis

  • If the device has set lock screen password or is in lock screen/screen off state, the system will prevent applications from auto-starting;
  • This is Android system security mechanism to prevent unauthorized applications from running in unlocked state;
  • Therefore, even if all permissions (auto-start, floating window, background popup, background locking, etc.) are enabled, still cannot auto-start in lock screen state.

Solutions

First Boot

  1. Manually unlock phone after boot;
  2. Manually run Cloud Control App once;
  3. Afterwards if App is cleared by system, can remotely automatically unlock and restart through Cloud Control background.

💡 After manually unlocking and running once, subsequently can use remote unlock function of Cloud Control background to achieve automatic unlock and auto-start.

Optimization Suggestions

  • If not necessary, recommend to disable lock screen password and wallpaper lock screen, can significantly reduce auto-start restriction risk;
  • If must keep lock screen password, can use automatic unlock function of Cloud Control background;
  • Recommend setting screen sleep time to 1 minute or more, prevent screen off during auto-start period.

Summary

  • Cannot auto-start in lock screen state is system mechanism restriction, not Cloud Control App problem;
  • Manual unlock once + remote unlock configuration can achieve subsequent automatic auto-start process.
